She was predeceased by: her husband Ardine W. Lowery. She is survived by: her daughter Akilah D. Reel (Akil-Lester W. Jr.); her grandchildren, Baye A. Reel (Erika) and Salim H. Reel; her great grandchildren, Matthew Malik Gray and Kamaal Reel; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Eric King, Jonathan King, Kiera and Kevin "KJ" Davis. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 1384 New Market Rd, Richmond, VA 23231.
