She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Chavis Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Belinda Chavis and Robert L. Chavis Jr. (Valerie); her grandchildren, Brianda, JaNell, Kori and Kordell Chavis; her brothers, Samuel "Man" Edwards (Jeanette), Frankie Edwards (Joyce) and William Leon Edwards; and her brother-in-law Charles Chavis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
