She was predeceased by: her son Michael B. Simmons. She is survived by: her granddaughter Tyjaisha Garner; and her siblings, Carla Hill, Beth Johnson-Harris (David), Bonny Johnson, Asbury T. Johnson (Norma) and Kendall H. Johnson (Cynthia). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins and other relatives and friends.
