Betsy Whittington Binswanger Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betsy Whittington Binswanger of Richmond, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jay and Mary Elizabeth "Spooks" Whittington; her sister-in-law Sharon Whittington; and her brother Bill Whittington. She is survived by: her husband Millard Binswanger; her stepdaughter Ellen Binswanger (David); her siblings, Suzanne Ames (Paige) and Jay Whittington; her niece Kelly Warren (Ty); her nephews, Tyler Ames (Gina), John Whittington (Kate) and Scott Whittington (Ellen); her sister-in-law Ann Stern; and her grandsons, Alex Church (Emily), Adam Church (Grace) and Hunter Nolan.
