Betty Cooper Proffitt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Cooper Proffitt of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Cooper and Helen Parsons Cooper; and her brother Harold Cooper. She is survived by: her husband Clarence C. Proffitt; her children, Kevin L. Proffitt (Tammy) and Sharon Church; her grandchildren, Jackson M. Proffitt (Lauren Estell Proffitt), Kevin L. Proffitt Jr. (Kipp), Jessica Church and Rachel Church; and her sister Peggy Samuels (Dennis). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends she loved.
