She was predeceased by: her father Edgar Leroy Lowe; her husband Jerry Hamilton; and her siblings, John Leroy Lowe, L. E. Lowe and Jo Ann Cumbow Carico.

She is survived by: her children, Jackie Allen (Vickey) of Rockmart, Terry Allen of Bristol, Virginia, Patricia Beaver of Greeneville and Kathy Wampler of Bristol, Virginia; and her sister Versie Osborne of Weber City, Virginia. She is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
