Betty Jo Collins Morecock Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2025, Betty Jo Collins Morecock (Richmond, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bob; her parents, Henry Collins and Hazel Collins; and her sister Linda Seckora. She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Baganakis and Henry Collins, Jr.; her children, Robert Morecock (Marian), Martha Morecock Eddy (Craig) and Steven Morecock (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Joseph, Collin, Christiane, Sarah, Alexandra and Heather; and her great grandchild Eli.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home (3215 Cutshaw Ave, Richmond, VA 23230). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the River Road Presbyterian Church (8960 River Rd, Richmond, VA 23229).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Virginia Tech's College of Engineering.
