She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul H. Simmers and Margaret Simmers (Mundy); her husband Carson E. Stroop; and her brother Harry Simmers. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Stroop (C. E. Sturman), Dale Stroop, Carolyn Moore (Jacques) and Jerry Stroop (Debbie); her grandchildren, Paul Robinson, Adam, Corey Stroop and Julia Smith; her sister-in-law Betty Simmers; her niece Bobbi Simmers; and her nephew Steve Simmers. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
