It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Ann Mills of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Beverly Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Beverly Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Beverly Ann leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne P. Mills; and her brothers, Kenneth "Sonny" R. Bean and Charles "Bill" William Bean III. She is survived by: her sons, Mark D. Lavender (Sherrie Yorty) and Jeffrey S. Lavender (Marjorie Perez Medolphe); her stepdaughters, Janey Neff and Janice Renick; her grandson Kalem Lavender Perez; and her close friend Fatin Howard.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Washington Memorial Park (6217 Memorial Dr, Sandston, VA 23150).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VBH Foundation, designated to Lakewood in Richmond, Virginia.
