Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Billy Atkinson of Richmond, Virginia, born in Dillon, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 74, on January 13, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Smiley Atkinson and Rachel Atkinson of Franklin; his brother-in-law Glenn Bridges; his cousins, Sonny and Ed Sansbury; his nephew Roger Drake; and his former wife Pat.

He is survived by: his wife Rev. Susie Atkinson; his children, Tracy Atkinson (Julie) of Richmond and Angie Atkinson of Los Angeles, CA; and his grandsons, Preston and Vaughn Atkinson of Richmond. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives; a multitude of friends, and his family.
