He was predeceased by: his parents, Linwood Atkins and Annie Atkins; and his brothers, James Atkins, Edward Atkins and Richard Atkins.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughter Lauren Brown; his grandson Colin Brown; his siblings, Millie Bilotta, Larry Atkins (Brenda), Gary Atkins and Bobby Atkins (Debbie); his sister-in-law Louise Atkins; his son George St. John; and his friends, Dennis and Brenda Buck. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
