He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Highfill Shumaker and John Edward Shumaker; and his sister Karen. He is survived by: his wife Beth Shelor Shumaker; his sister Susan [Eddie]; his brother-in-law Carl [Cherie]; and his feline loves, Belmont and Katie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
