He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Nichols and Ernestine Nichols Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Martha Nichols; his sons, Jerry Nichols and Stephen Nichols; his grandson Brandon Nichols; and his siblings, David, Glenn Nichols, Patricia Divers, Debra Geppi and Rebecca Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Coach and Four Restaurant (5206 Williamson Rd, Roanoke, VA 24012).
