It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin Redford (Richmond, Virginia), who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. Redford and Mary Wright Redford of Henrico; his wife Barbara; his son Ronald Redford (Mary); and his sister June Redford Palmer.
He is survived by: his brother Lloyd Earl Redford (Margaret) of Varina; his children, Jim Redford of Henrico, Teri Norton (Jeff) of Tappahannock and Wanda Hancock (Dennis) of Providence Forge; and his grandchildren, Sarah Redford Crocker, Rachael Redford, Niki Hancock Dunkum, C. J. Hancock (Amy), Cali Hancock (Michael), Jonathan Ayres (Ryane), Meghan Redford, Cameron Redford (Karlee) and Stephen Redford.
Viewing will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (4650 S Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231).
