He was predeceased by: his wife Harriet B. Williams; and his siblings, Eugene Williams, Earl Williams and Peggy Lowe. He is survived by: his sister Virginia Sherrick; his son Channing G. Williams II; his daughter-in-law Sandra Coleman; his grandsons, Channing G. Williams III and Michael C. Williams; and his stepgranddaughter Elizabeth Putzig.
