He is survived by: his wife Gerda Ellison; his children, George Ellison (Meredith), Christel Yehle (Greg Coffman), Jean Reiter (Evan) and Charlie Ellison (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Lauren Yehle, Charles Reiter, Erika Reiter, Patrick Yehle, Delaney Yehle, Charles Ellison, Jackson Ellison, Thomas Reiter, Benjamin Ellison and Andrew Ellison.
