He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nicholas Satterfield, Sr. and Bessie Denton Satterfield; and his sister Helen Ann Satterfield. He is survived by: his wife Alice Roper Satterfield; his children, Cheryl Simmons (Rick), Charles Nicholas Satterfield, III and Brian Christopher Satterfield; his grandchildren, Jennelle Kyle Bowery, Jessica Shea Bowery and Taylor Perry Bowery; his great grandchild Dylan Cooper Bowery; and his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Simmons (Heather) and Ashley Schenkelberger (Chris).

The family asks for memorial contributions to be made in Mike's honor to Sitter and Barfoot Veterans Care Center.
