She was predeceased by: her parents, Donna L Leighty and Robert C Hensel, Sr.. She is survived by: her wife Jan M Smith; her son Keefer Hensel-Smith (Lauren); her siblings, Diana Scakett (Victor) and Robert C Hensel, Jr.; her sister-in-law Stephanie Hensel; her granddaughter Eloise Catherine; her siblings' children, Jayme (Gary), Chelsea (Rob), Courtney (Max) and Bobby; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Isabella, Ensley, Ella, Carter, Ace and Jackson. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to pancreatic cancer research, Richmond Animal Care and Control or For the Love of Poodles in her memory.
