We are sad to announce that, on March 20, 2021, at the age of 94, Clarence Edward Whitley of Richmond, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Benjamin and Mary Waff Whitley; his siblings, Joseph Benbury Whitley, Stanley Waff Whitley, Horace Benjamin Whitley, William LeGrand Whitley and Mary Elizabeth Whitley Snead; and his wife Mary Birchett Whitley.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Birchett Whitley, Carole Whitley Wagner (Don) and Terry Whitley Curro (Dave); his grandchildren, Claire Whitley Rotruck (Adam), Kristi Wagner Brackett (Jacob), Sara Haskins Whitley, Ryan August "Augie" Wagner, Paula Kathryn Wagner and Bret Anthony Curro; his great grandchildren, Brooks, Bennett Rotruck and Graciela "Chela" Brackett; and his pet Dakota.
Grace Covenant's protocols will be in place, including wearing masks and social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, the Scottish Rite Childhood Language Center, U.S. Navy Memorial or Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad.
