It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude W. King (Richmond, Virginia), who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Florester Delores King Jefferson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jackson King; his children, Terrance Conyers and Sheena Conyers; his stepchildren, William Jackson, Jr. and Deborah Jackson; his grandchildren, Devonte Gibson, Lironda Melvin, Lisa Melvin, Jovan Robinson and Jayda Jackson; and his siblings, Joyce King Smith, Valerie McNeal and Maurice King, Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Chiles Funeral Home (2100 Fairmount Ave, Richmond, VA 23223).
