She was predeceased by: her grandson Kemod Parnell. She is survived by: her children, Wanda Parnell, Wendy Parnell Price (Larry), Horace Parnell (Tonya) and Spanode Parnell (Tacosha); and her sister Alice Bethea. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220). The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Swansboro Baptist Church (3801 Midlothian Tpke, Richmond, VA 23224). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the same location.
