He is survived by: his close friend Jacqueline Smoot; his children, Cornelius Smoot, Racquel Powell and Tameka Smoot; his grandchildren, Ke'Shaun, Cornesha, Shanyia, Marvin, Antonio, Patricia, Kayla, Taylor, Taniya, Madyson and Amari; his great grandchild Damien; his siblings, Charles Thompson (Annette), Willie Thompson (Shirley), Jonathan, William Thompson, Yvonne Jones (John), Charlene Jefferson (Percell), Sheila Waller and Mary Greene (Earnest); and his friend Sheridan "Danny" Johnson Sr. (Angela).
