Dale Allen Campbell Obituary
Dale A. Campbell passed away on the 10th of January 2026 in the McGuire Richmond VA hospital. He was 75 years old.
Dale was preceded in death by his son, Scott, and his father-figures, Sonny and Carl. Dale was survived by his mother, Margaret; his children Rodney (Anita), Scott’s wife Kathy, Marie, Christopher (Heather) and Maile; his grandchildren Derek, Joshua (Karina), Jessica, Kristin, Glenn Jr., Kayla J, Audrie, Astrid, Beatrice, Kayla H (Tom), Colton, and Jasmine; and great grandchildren Isla, Joshua Jr, Rhett, Madelyn, and Daxton.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 20 years, retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant. After retirement, he was unable to sit still and found work as a project manager and courier. Generous to a fault, Dale spent his life ensuring his family and close friends never went without.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations are made in his name to veteran charities, Wounded Warrior Project (support.woundedwarriorproject.org) or The Fisher House Foundation (http://www.greaterlafisherhouse.org).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the 7475 B Dr N (7475 B Drive North, Battle Creek, Michigan 49014).
