He is survived by: his children, Tony Dowdy (Beth) and Tammy Jones; his grandchildren, Wyatt Dowdy, Trey and Darbi Jones; and his siblings, Donald Dowdy (Sheila), Mildred Sharp and Peggy Bryan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a loving community of friends.
