He was predeceased by: his wife Renee Hancock; his parents, Olney Hancock and Rebecca Hancock; and his brother-in-law Lloyd Ellis III. He is survived by: his children, Allen Hancock (Jen) and Lindsay Wheatley (Chris); his grandchildren, Matthew, Eli and Logan; his sisters, Janice Ellis and Judy Gibson; his nephews, Tyler Ellis (Maggie) and Brad Ellis (Sarah); and his great-nephew Briggs.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bliley's Funeral Home (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's or to the American Cancer Society.
