He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Ramsey and Virginia Ramsey; his wife Scherrie Marie Ramsey; his sisters, Patricia and Frances; his son David Michael Ramsey; and his grandson Ronald Christopher Wood, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Bostick, Tammie Green (Frank) and Douglas Strickler; and his brother Richard Ramsey (Grace). He is also survived by six grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; as well as many nieces and nephews.
