She is survived by: her husband Maurice E. Patterson Sr.; and her sons, Maurice E. Patterson Jr. (Laretta), Michael R. Patterson (Victoria) and Roderick Patterson (Kelly). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sixth Baptist Church (400 S Addison St, Richmond, VA 23220).
