He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Garnett and Christine Garnett. He is survived by: his wife Janet Garnett; his daughters, Angela Lackovitch, Tamara Slaughter and Stephanie Fridley; his grandchildren, Adam Lackovitch, Brooke Slaughter, Ryan Slaughter, Evangeline Fridley, Roy Fridley, Jr. and Dylan Fridley; and his sons-in-law, Scott Lackovitch, John Slaughter and Roy Fridley.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bliley's Funeral Home (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Winfree Church (13617 Midlothian Tpke, Midlothian, VA 23113). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Central Baptist Church (1500 Courthouse Rd, North Chesterfield, VA 23236).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Winfree Memorial Baptist for Youth Missions.
