We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2023, Doris Elizabeth Vesley Carter (Richmond, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas J. Carter; and her parents, Charlie Vesley and Beulah Vesley. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Hart; her grandchildren, Joseph (Elisa) and Elizabeth; her daughter Cheryl Thomas (Dean); and her grandchildren, Heather (Sam) and Ashley (Darnell). She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hunton Baptist Church, 11660 Greenwood Road.
