She was predeceased by: her mother Emma Booker Dabney; her brothers, Sherwood and Sylvester Booker; and her son Lester York, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Lester York, Sr.; her children, Judy (Tina), Linda, Melody, Michael, Wendoll (Joseph), Tonya, Warren (Pee Wee) and Demetri (Boss); her stepsons, Wayne McClain, Rudy and Weldon Smith; her grandchildren, Lamont Finn, Bianca Spurlock, Lovey Simmons, Ashley Nero, Brandon Brown, Brittany York, Michael Tyler York, Victoria York, Chenell York, Xavier Cooper, Dion York and Keisha Entzminger; her great grandchildren, Jordan Finn, Trenton Finn, Landon Finn, Daniel Waller, Brennan Green, Marcus and Olivia Simmons; and her close friend Marie Butler. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
