He is survived by: his wife Michelle R. Peace; his children, Savanna C. Barry (Travis M. Thomas), Eliza R. Barry (Justin L. Patterson) and Dickson R. Barry (Sarah W. Barry); and his grandson Emerick M. Patterson. He is also survived by siblings and their children.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the The Cask (206 S Robinson St, Richmond, VA 23220).
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Douglas R. Barry Legacy Scholarship fund to support young people entering the skilled trades.
