He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Brooks. He is survived by: his daughters, Martha Brooks Grey and Ann Brooks Allen. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends.
