He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Curry Radden; his wife Helen Simmons Radden; his parent Eddie Leroy Radden, Sr.; his brother William Nelson Radden Sr.; and his mother-in-law Lucy Simmons Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Radden-Booth, Eddie Leroy Radden III, Cheryl Radden Fleming, Mary Radden Hicks (late Kalvin), Dwayne Radden, Sr. (Bonnie) and Martin Radden (Kim); his granddaughter Deidre Coley; his sisters-in-law, Linda Lewis, Jean Carter and Doris Radden; his nephew Jason Brown; his niece Naphenuse Whitehead; and his friend Elois Taylor. He is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren.
He held the office of Worshipful Master in 1986 and lived by the Masonic principles of faith, hope, and charity.
