She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Litkenhaus Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Walker, Janet Morgan (Bill), Jennifer Montoya, Joan Tate (Howard), Jill Lynn (Jay) and James Litkenhaus Jr. (Ellen); and her siblings, Thomas Cummings, Loretta Dibello, Robert Cummings (Amelia) and Kathleen Parisi (Anthony). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to PAWS of NE Louisiana.
