He was predeceased by: his son James Edward Grimsley, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Ann Neblett Grimsley; his daughters, Dr. Penny Blumenthal (Benjamin) of Richmond and Anna Ashworth (Alan) of Tampa, Fla.; and his grandchildren, Michael Blumenthal (Kelly) of Fredericksburg, Stephanie Small (Will) of Richmond, Caitlin Ashworth of Columbia, S. C., Jonathan, Jillian Ashworth of Tampa, Fla. and Nathan Ashworth of Fairbanks, Alaska. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed's memory to William & Mary Annual Fund.
