It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Harry Shaia (Richmond, Virginia), who passed away on April 29, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward Harry Shaia to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Shaia and Zackia Shaia; and his sons-in-law, Scott McGough and Tom Anthony. He is survived by: his children, Rose Marie Shaia, Rebecca Anthony, Dr. Paul Shaia (Lina), Theresa Bergen (Ron), Dr. Elizabeth Shaia, Anita Shaia, Bernadette Shaia and Gerard Shaia (Margaret); and his brother Harry Shaia Jr.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School or Church.
