With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Robert Ward (Richmond, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Ward and Virginia Alice Stover Ward; and his wife Miriam Claire Taylor Ward. He is survived by: his son Robert Neal Ward (Cynthia); his granddaughter Kinsey Madison Ward; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica Heather Dalton Wilson (Wayne) and Joshua Erik Dalton (Leslie); his stepgreat-grandson Jack Henry Dalton; his brother Barry Ward (Cheryl); and his nephew Nicholas Taylor Ward (Michelle). He is also survived by 3 grand-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Richmond Concert Band, PO Box 268, Richmond, Virginia 23218.
