She was predeceased by: her brother Emory Daniel Hatcher; her niece Jimmie Sue Fowler; and her parents, Ralph Hatcher and Sallie Mae Hatcher. She is survived by: her daughters, Deirdre Karen of Louisville, CO and Michelle Heckel (Jeff) of Midlothian, VA; her grandsons, Gregory and Cole (Anna); her great grandchild Paige Emerson; her nephew Emory Daniel Hatcher (Melanie); her nieces, Marcia Powell and Brenda LaMar; and her husband Paul Smith. She is also survived by grandmother to her two grandsons.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bliley's Funeral Home (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224).
