She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus A. Kelly and Annie Knight Kelly; her brother Rufus A. Kelly, Jr.; and her former husbands, Francis S. Graninger, Jr. and Melvin Rhea.

She is survived by: her husband Wayne E. Barden; her children, Ruth Frances Griggs (Edward), Andrew Francis Graninger and Francis St. Clair Graninger III (Mary Frances); her stepsons, Mark (Melissa) and Paul Barden (Genger); her grandchildren, Kellan Travis (Hannah), Kyle Travis, Kristopher Travis (Morgan Daly), Annie Graninger, Camille Graninger, Francis Graninger and Cole Graninger; her great grandchild Jaden Flores-Travis; her stepgrandson Justin Barden; and her brothers, William (Brenda), Robert (Jean) and Benjamin Kelly (Sheri). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
