Elizabeth Parker Whittet O'Conor Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Parker Whittet O'Conor of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on September 1, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, McLean Whittet and Antoinette Whittet; her brother Robert McLean Whittet; and her brother-in-law Waddy Garrett. She is survived by: her children, Andrew Wheeler O'Conor (Liz) of Charleston, SC and Margaret O'Conor Dean (Jeffrey) of Durham, NC; her grandchildren, Emma, Rowen, Ethan, Greyson O'Conor, Thomas and Patrick Dean; her sister Cornelia Garrett (Connie); her sister-in-law Linda Walters Whittet of Richmond; and her husband Paul O'Conor.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Bolling Haxall House Foundation or the Elizabeth Whittet O'Conor Fund for Breast Cancer Research (376716) at UNC Lineberger, causes close to Elizabeth's heart.
