She was predeceased by: her parents, P. E. Thomas and Mary Thomas; her former husband Horace B. "Hoy" Woodburn; and her brothers, Buddy Thomas and Jack Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughter Betsy Mitchem; her grandchildren, Van Mitchem and Mavis Mitchem; her siblings, Lowell Thomas (Denise) and Lorene Reece (Bob); and her sisters-in-law, Terri Thomas and Phyllis Woodburn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association, or the Tuckahoe Family YMCA.
