He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Whitlock and William Whitlock; and his siblings, Joyce Eades, Brenda Latham and Roger Whitlock.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Martha Whitlock; his nephews, James Eades (Ellen) and Ray Whitlock (Katy); his niece Rachel Whitlock (Chris); his great-niece Layla Whitlock; and his nephew Thomas Jackson. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
