He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Simmons and Mittie Simmons; and his sisters, Mary Evans and Geneva Whitlock (Virgie). He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Odoms (Parker) and Cheryl Scott; his grandchildren, Tycher Simmons (Demond), Riesha Pegram, Shaniesha Dickerson (Dez), Andreus Scott, Shavonna Britt (Vincent), Danielle Burton (Scottie) and Marcell Scott; his great grandchildren, Tyaja Moore, Demond Lewis, Jr., Mayleek Greene, Royall Greene, Syncere Goodson, Sunni Dickerson, Chenice Lewis, Legend Lewis, Demarcus Dickerson and Aniece Dickerson; his sister Irene Jackson; his close friend Carolyn Darby; his friends, Ernestine Pryor, Dale McAllister and Deborah Rollins; and his cousin Rogers Goode.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Affinity Funeral Service (2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM.
