He was predeceased by: his daughter Carolyn Lorraine Pollard; and his siblings, Lawrence Dunbar Pollard Jr. and Mary Darden. He is survived by: his sons, Rex Sr. and Franklin Pollard Jr.; the parent of his children Jean C. Pollard; his grandsons, Aarien, Rex Jr. and James; his great grandchild Zarah; and his brothers, Donald Pollard and John T. Darden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220).
