He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred F. Boyd Sr. and Betty Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Tammy M. Boyd; his brother Jeffrey Lynn Boyd; and his siblings-in-law, Deborah Dotson (Raymond), Randall Mercks (Crystal) and Thomas Mercks (Mardi). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
