It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Holmes Ginn (Richmond, Virginia), who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, L. Holmes Ginn Jr. and Mary L. Ginn; his sister Bettie Anne Osborne; and his wife Grace Mercer Ginn. He is survived by: his children, Marshall of Arlington, Blane Withers (Steve Lewis) of Washington, Conn., Warren (Lani) of Raleigh, N. C. and Mary Catharine Kolbert (Warren) of Richmond; and his grandchildren, Kolb Kolbert and Charlie Kolbert.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Richmond Kiwanis Foundation (//richmondkiwanis.org/donate), the Heart of Virginia Council of the Boy Scouts, or a charity of choice.
