With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Emory Kilgore (Richmond, Virginia), born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on August 3, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Howard and Lyle Clarence Kilgore; and his sons, Mark E. Kilgore and Gerald E. Kilgore Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Joy; his children, Robin Kilgore Henderson (David), Kevin Flanary Kilgore and Dr. Jeffrey Lee Kilgore (Becky); his grandchildren, Kristine Allen (Derek), Hunter Kilgore (Devon), Cameron Henderson (Maia), Taylor Henderson, Mark Kilgore, Shelby Henderson, Danny Kilgore and Charlotte Kilgore; and his great grandchildren, Maelynn Kilgore and Hazel Kilgore.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to River Road Presbyterian Church and Overbrook Presbyterian Church.
