Geraldine Rainier Obituary
Geraldine “Jerry†Rainier, 82, passed peacefully on July 16, 2025, surrounded by her family. Heaven’s now got better purses, polished nails, and probably a spaghetti dinner cooking.
Born in Richmond to Ethel Hawk and Raymond Brock Sr., Jerry grew up with her brothers Ryland, Raymond Jr., and Mason. She lived with heart, grace, and a sweetness that made everyone feel at home.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Joe) Harris, Timothy (LeAnn) Rainier, and David Rainier; grandchildren, Ashley (Lorenzo) Fuller, Jennifer Sullivan, Erica (Stedmann) Bragg, Rachel (Nick) Buckmaster, Zachary (Noelle) Coyne, and Megan Rainier; many great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and bonus family who loved her dearly.
As Loretta Lynn once sang, “My soul will rise and fly away†and still, she’s with us always. Private services with immediate family will be held.
