We are sad to announce that, on February 10, 2023, at the age of 87, Gilbert Walker Holmes III (Richmond, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert W Holmes Jr. and Leonora Powell Holmes; and his brother Wayne. He is survived by: his wife Helen Dunnington Holmes; his children, Mitch Holmes (Lori), Tia Rosenmeier (Greg) and Troy Holmes (Amy); and his siblings, Kay Miles, Donald Holmes and Ray Holmes (Nancy). He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial dontations made to First Baptist Church as Gifts To Television Ministry.
