He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Harry Lee Watson, Jr. and Susan Mitchell Yancey; wife: Barbara Booth Watson; daughter: Susan Watson Congrove (Brian); sons: Harry Lee Watson IV (Lynne), William Booth Watson (Jane) and Robert Yancey Watson; grandchildren: Braxton, Brian (Lauren), Barbara Landon, Harry Lee (Jayden), Carter, Alden (Shane) and Booth; great-grandchildren: Watson and Macon; brother: William Carter Watson; aunt and uncle: Dr. and Mrs. William Hume Hoskins; and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home (3215 Cutshaw Ave, Richmond, VA 23230). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hollywood Cemetery (412 S Cherry St, Richmond, VA 23220).
